Hardware and Operations System Configurations
  • 200 MHz or faster
  • 64 MB RAM minimum/128 MB recommended
  • 16 bit sound card
  • 65,000 (16 bit) color video display card
  • Windows XP/Windows Vista (or)
  • Apple Mac OS X 10.4

If you are using older or unsupported versions of Windows, Unix, or Mac operating systems, you may experience difficulty in viewing and/or listening to the event.


Internet Connection

Before you access the event, you should ensure that your browser is configured to stream media. All webcasts require a broadband connection. For Video events you will need a minimum Internet connection of 450Kbps. INXPO recommends a connection of 750Kbps or higher.

If you experience connectivity issues and are connecting via a VPN, please close your VPN software and connect directly to the internet. Some VPNs, proxy servers and other security tools can interfere with your ability to connect to XPOCAST.

Speedtest.net is a broadband speed analysis tool that allows anyone to test their Internet connection.The speed test will test all available bandwidth on your netowrk but it does not take into account other users on the network that may be using bandwidth.


Cookies and JavaScript

In order to access the event, your computer must have cookies and JavaScript enabled. If your operating system currently does not have cookies or JavaScript enabled, contact your network administrator or reference the help links located on the registration page.
To enable cookies support when using Internet Explorer, complete the following steps:

  1. Run Internet Explorer
  2. Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top
  3. Click on "Internet Options"
  4. Click on the "Privacy" tab
  5. Click on the "Advanced" button
  6. Select "Override automatic cookie handling"
  7. Select "Always allow session cookies"

To enable cookies support when using Mozilla Firefox, complete the following steps:

  1. Run Firefox
  2. Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top
  3. Click on "Options"
  4. Click on the "Privacy" icon on the left column
  5. Select the checkbox "Accept Cookies from Sites"
  6. Click "OK"
