What is a virtual conference?
Like face-to-face conferences, the main features that draw audiences to events are the educational presentations and booths on the expo floor. Virtual conferences offer both from the convenience of your desktop without the inconvenience or cost of travel. Attendance is free. All you need to do is register. Register by clicking here.

Why is Cisco and partners APC, EMC, Emerson Network Power, NetApp, Oracle, Panduit and VMware, offering an online conference?
With escalating travel costs and hassles, less company funds for air and hotel expenses, virtual events offer a convenient way for a worldwide audience to attend IT conferences to network and learn. We connect the IT industry's best companies and foremost thinkers with our online community, all within a 3D virtual conference.

How does a virtual conference work?
First you must register (free of charge) and input your user name and password. Then on the live date (July 15, 2009, 6:00 a.m. TO 4:00 p.m. PDT ) simply log into the show from the comfort of your home or office. You must have a PC or Mac that's connected to a high-speed internet connection. Once inside the virtual show doors you'll be able to browse the expo floor, chat with booth staff and other attendees, download whitepapers and other e-literature and attend live presentations via webcast.

What are the registration costs for an attendee?
Attendance is absolutely free! Our sponsors pay a fee which covers the costs of the online show.

Are there any downsides of a virtual conference?
One major limitation of an online conference is the lack of face-to-face meeting opportunities. Yet the convenience and cost effectiveness of attending a virtual event easily outweighs this downside. Plus while inside the online show you can network with other industry colleagues by chatting live and exchanging electronic business cards, which in many instances lead to face-to-face meetings.

What do you mean by a live date?

This live day is the only time when all booths will have reps available for real time in-show chat. Also many presenters will answer attendee’s questions during real-time live Q & A sessions during their webcasts.

How long will the event material be available after the live event?
All conference material and expo booths will be remain available for registered attendees at no additional costs for three months following the closing date of the event. This online conference is slated to be available on-demand from July 15 - October 16, 2009.
