Show Dates
This section allows you to enter the show’s dates for each applicable date type. Each date type has different rights and restrictions associated with them to limit access to the show.
1. Under the “Shows” tab, click on the “+” next to your show name.
2. Click on “Show Setup.”
3. Click on “Show Dates.”
4. Click “Add New Row” to add a new show date row.
5. Select a date type from the drop-down menu. There are five types:
· Earlybird Registration
· Open Registration
· Preview Dates
· Show Dates
· After Show Access Dates
· Data Portal Access Dates
NOTE: Each date type has different rights and restrictions associated with them to limit access to the show. Other setup requirements, such as adding “After Show Access” to a
show package may be required to implement the restrictions.
Registration Dates (Earlybird and Open):
- Are not required for a user to be able to register for a show
- Can be used in conjunction with show package dates to provide tiered pricing
- Can be used with giveaway actions for points awards for accelerated points award
- If dates exist, are used by “Registration Hits By Type” custom system report as the “From Date” (show “To Date” is the end date)
Preview Dates:
§ Users can log into the show, so this is typically limited to Exhibitor
§ Used as the “From Date” for the “Communication Usage Summary” report in the Data Portal
§ Can be used with giveaway actions for points awards
Show Dates:
§ Users can log into the show
§ Can be used with giveaway actions for points awards
§ Used in several custom system reports – if range spans more than 5 days (some reports use only the last 5 days of date range)
After Show Access:
§ Users can log into the show
§ Can be used with giveaway actions for points awards
§ Used in conjunction with the show package to limit access to specific areas of the show after the original show date
Data Portal Access Dates:
§ Users can log into the Data Portal
6. Enter a from date and time.
7. Enter a to date and time.
8. Select a user type from the drop-down menu.
9. Click “Save.”
10. Repeat steps 4-9 for each show date range that you want to add.
NOTE: To delete a show date, click on the “Delete” button in that date’s row. Alternately, you can click “Delete All” to delete all show dates from the list. To edit a show date, make any needed modifications and then click “Save.”
11. The change log icon can be selected to view the changes that have been made to the Show Dates section.
